A bit about family in parents’ words: The hours vary, but my husband or I are always back by 7 - potentially earlier. Our daughter is very good at getting on with her homework herself, but is likely to want the nanny in the same room so she can ask for help. Depending on how tired she is after school, the nanny should help with activities like cooking/art/games. Depending on the days worked, the nanny may need to walk (15 minutes) or take the bus to her after-school activities (dance/drama). Our daughter likes reading/dance/music/languages. We have 2 guinea pigs who live inside. We also had a garden and space to park on our drive.
Salary:
£15 net – £17 net per hour could be higher if it is only for the after-school help
Start date:
As soon as possible
You will need for this job position an enhanced DBS, an up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate, at least 2 checkable references from a nanny/childcare or nursery/school setting, and a current CV.
